  • Come on man Joomla 1.5 is stable and out the door and it is packing a lot of new features! CMS makes it easy to keep content up to date...we need a Joomla 1.5 discovery...dont look back racing on to Joomla 2.0 the app of content connection management.

  • Joomla 1.5 Videos are in the works. This video was posted 11 months ago. 1.5 stable just came out a few weeks ago, and we're working on it.

  • Joomla is the best CMS in the world, won 2006, 2007 and probably this year also ;)

  • I have been doing web graphics and sites for 10 years..I'm migrating everything to Joomla. No more HTML. Yes. You can build websites for clients. It's very common, and you are delivering a product with a cms.

    Customers love that.

Add a few extra hours on the bill called "cms training" (teach your client how to use the cms) and you can price your product much more. Suddenly you are selling knowledge too.

  • MyJoomlaGuide, This video rocks.

  • @SaihatAlhaq Some people may prefer it because Joomla allows the client to modify the website without having to contact the designer

  • As a two year user, we've found that it's hard to use for the folks stuck with creating and managing content after the web developer leaves. Joomla/Drupal=for developers by developers. Plus, you have to manage patches, updates etc. and have to host it somewhere. What about a Cloud based system?

  • Most definately. Its probably the best thing to use for your clients as you can create accounts for them to log in which will allow them to make any changes they want very easily
