A story of pain and abuse, a story of love and recovery.

Firu was the dog who was tied to the back of a truck, and dragged.

After someone called the police, The men were stopped, and Firu was taken to the animal hospital. Where instant networking and calls were made. A woman named Samantha Hodge stepped up, and saved him. She saw him and it was love at first sight. People from all over started following Firu's story, he made the news, and Ellen. Hundreds of people sent in donations, cards, and gifts. People from all over the world were keeping up to date every day, with news from Samantha.

Firu has touched our hearts, and I hope his story touches yours.
I have been following Firu, since the very first post. He has come so far, and now he has found his forever family with samantha and all of her other rescue dogs.

I just watched this in the UK. I am crying and posting it for everyone to see. What an awesome testament of the nature of this beautiful boy and his beautiful saviors. As for the 2 responsible, I would like to see the public outside the court on the news letting them know exactly what is thought of them and hear the outcome of the sentencing giving them exactly what they deserve. Someone please post here so I can come back and see what happened.

Atleast there is a happy ending. The people who did this should've known. Nobody should forget about a cute angel like this dog. This dog is very strong. At the beginning of this I was gonna burst out bawling but when the second half I was smiling! Thank you so much Samantha Hodge! You are amazing too. Thank you so so so so so much!!

I cried bath fulls seeing the first part but the 2nd cheered me up knowing firu has a good home and a owner whoever did it to firu should have the same punishment but the driver shouldn't stop so they feel the same way that firu felt I hate animal cruelty and I wish that people would put an end to it for good
