JERKY TIME!

I have been using a Ronco dehydrator and it is JUNK! No temperature setting, no fan, uneven drying, you have to keep rotating the trays. And takes FOREVER to dry anything! Getting an Excalibur!

If that guy Craig is telling us we need a Ronco Dehydrator then I'm going to buy one!

@pr0n3 This works great for me....and the 5 layer only cost $30....thats not very expensive. I made jerky once or twice, but i manly make apple chips

That's a $5,000 dehydrator...

I'm dehydrated!

Excalibur > Nesco > Ronco

this thing is totally not worth any money...period.
I tried to dry 40lbs of bananas, between slow, uneven drying I almost didn't finish the case, but of course if you want to dry just few ounces and have the time to sit and watch it dry go for it.

Actually a food dehydrator has a heck of a lot of other uses. Should check out this woman who makes the best videos on the various uses for a dehydrator. Her youtube username is dehydrate2store. She shows clever ways to dehydrate fruits & veggies to store for 30+ years. Storable food in an emergency that lasts 30 years I think makes sense. Can make your own at a fraction of the cost of buying it from a storable food company. Cheers & God bless.

Ronco has the best inventions and it is not pure crap.. It is cool and it actually works!!!!!!!!!
Who the hell is that happy making banana chips and beef jerky? I mean, people, calm down. The thing doesn't cure cancer.

Ronco Dehydrator....sooo useless. No fan, no temp control. Nesco dehydrators are cheaper and come with fans, and temp controls and better stacking of food.
