San Diego, CA - Rollerskate Land 1986, this song brings those days back. They really need to bump this during cosmic bowling.

Funny you can hear the hip-hop influence in the instrumental and in the vocal delivery.

@DeemonKilla those 3 groups got most their sound from Earth Wind & Fire and Ohio Players

@fredblassie123 All of the great funk groups of the 70's and 80's kind of influenced each other.

@fredblassie123 Word Up, Cameo, Confunkshun, & The Barkays use to bite off each others cuts all day long back in the day. If Cameo was getting big sales on a hit, The Barkays would come out a month later with a hit song that would sound just like Cameo's hit i.e. Confunkshun. These 3 groups were all pretty much on the same page. Although I gotta give it to Confunkshun for the slow jams. Cameo 2nd, Barkays were best for the Dance jams along with Cameo. DAMN I'M OLD......
Damn Homie I haven't heard this JAM in long ass time! I remember as a kid tagging along with my older cousins cruising down Bristol Street in Santa Ana, CA listening to this. Thanks for the trip back to memory lane!
