  • on prelude by chopin, you need to hold the pedal down and decrescendo for the last three chords. the rest of the pieces were excellent. i can tell that you were really into it, and that is what an audience enjoys. i think you wil do very well as a musician.

  • Thank you so much for the compliment. The last three chords were intentionally hold the melody note only to get more sorrowful ending but it is not written obviously. I play sometimes with the pedal too. It is great to hear various aspect of expression. Thank you so much for your comment!

  • awesome! five stars! altough, i like chopin a little bit slower.. but that's just my taste.. every interpretation is different =)

loved bach too.. is there a written transcpition of the toccata? or everyone just plays it how they like it..a little different =|..

anyways.. good techinque but ooh please! slow down a little bit on chopin waltzes(or whatever it's said xD) so you can add a little bit more passion..

or maybe not.. is just a recomendation xD.. i love chopin so much lol..

  • There are about 22 transcription of the Toccata & Fugue in d as far as I know. Major ones are Busoni, Tausig, Friedman, and Grainger. This one was by Alfred Cortot and it has been published.

I guess I need more technique to play anything fast without feel of "trying to play".

I will keep practice more. Please come back sometime for new video.

Thank you very much for your comment.

  • Beautiful phrasing and playing of all 4 pieces. Even though none of the pieces you chose were technically that difficult, you have shown a lot of musicality in your playing. Wow!

  • Technique is my challenge all the time. I will simply develop my skill to higher level.

  • well done. the prelude is such a gorgeous piece. I'm playing it right now and researching a variety of different styles to choose the kind that will best suit me, and yours is very similiar to mine! The right tempo for me indeed.

  • Nice to hear the Cortot version...

  • Really nice work *****

  • I find you use a bit too much displacing, especially toward the beginning. I suppose it could be a matter of personal taste, though.

  • Thank you so much for your beautiful comment.
