  • is your housing for the fogs yellow as well?? i want to get hid fogs, but my housing is already yellow ...i dont kno if 3000k will be overkill??

  • My housing is NOT yellow. I have the crystal foglight housing, its clear. The bulb does give the housing a yellow tint in daytime though even when the lights are off. If you have yellow housing, you can still run a 3000K HID kit, it shouldn't be overkill. It will just be really yellow. I am thinking about overlaying yellow film onto my fog lights to enhance the color as well.

  • You're right they do give you more light in any housing but the glare is mainly the issue.

  • Yeah, eather that's not aimed right, or you have the bulb in wrong... It sounds stupid, but you wouldn't beleive how often it happens with HID kits and their thicker plastic bases, as opposed to the standard Metal ones

  • its actual right i installed hid on my accord and got pulled over because off the bean bin everywhere so after i got my car towed and a fine over 500$ yes over 500 because i was using hids their illegal in USA ok i installed projectors and i installed the hids and the beam from projectors its kinda perfect setup its not everywhere like before Thar Do Work Best With Projectors but if you can adjust your stock headlights so it don't sine everywhere thane your fine you don't need projectors your ok

  • HID lighting don't just work in cars with projectors. Do your research.

  • Wrong. Back when I had my old Lincoln it had a composite style headlamp. The halogens weren't cutting it anymore since my lens had been slightly yellowed with age and I upgraded to an HID kit. I aimed the lights down a bit so I wasn't blinding other drivers but the difference was unbelievable. Never used the high beams again.

  • I just got mine kit yesterday from SparkHID DoTCoM, install it today, man what a big difference. LOVE THEM, WILL EVER GO BACK TO HALOGEN BULBS. Nice, Bright and clear. can see all the pot holes and speed bumps ect.... GOOD vision sparkhid dotcom

  • Ha, i beg to differ...

  • not being funny if you aint got projectors dont even bother with hid / xenon bulbs youl end up using your original halogen bulbs belive me there brighter XENON ONLY WORK WITH CARS THAT HAVE THE PRJECTORS IN THE HEADLIGHTS

  • Wow glare.
