Message to Nintendo

Hello, leaders of Nintendo. We are Starmen.

Over the years, we have been watching you. Your campaigns of repetition; suppression of fans; your seemingly deaf nature, all of these things have caught our eye. With the leakage into mainstream circulation of your latest decision to exclude the game Mother 2 also known as Earthbound from the Wii Virtual Console.

Thus has the extent of your blindness to those who trust you, who call you supreme, been made clear to us. Starmen has therefore decided that your organization should be informed. For the good of your fans, for the good of mankind--for the good times--we shall inform you from the Internet and every possible source.

We acknowledge you as a serious opponent, and we are prepared for a long, long campaign. You will not prevail forever against the persistent masses of the fan politic. Your methods, obliviousness, and the tactlessness of your organization have sounded this response.

You cannot hide; we are everywhere. We cannot die; we are forever. We're getting bigger every day, and solely by the force of our ideas, great and ineffective as they often are. If you want another name for your opponent, then call us Syndicate, for we are many and well connected.

Yet for all that we are not as blind as you are; our methods are a contrast to your own. Doubtless you will not use the Starmen's prompts as an end to your inaction you have so long presented to your followers; this is unacceptable. Yet, we will still continue. We are your customers.

Gradually as we state our desires to your Organization, your blindness to your fans will become increasingly difficult to maintain. Believers will follow, and see that some games need to be played. They will know that the stress, the frustration that they feel is not something that may be blamed upon themselves.

No, they will see that it stems from a source far from them. Yes, we are customers. But the sum of suppression we could ever endure could be eclipsed by your inaction towards us.

Gaming is freedom.

We are Starmen.

We are Syndicate.

We do remember.

We can forgive.
