This debate about the Plasma model vs the 'accepted' 'science', is pretty provocative at first...
Then any rational person with a few dozen hours to googlelearn can clearly see the dilemna.
these poor fellows don't want to admit their attempts to fit the universe into outdated and erroneous principles is irrational and/or unscientific.
Like those guys back in the day;
"I tell you again, Gentlemen! The Earth....is Flat!"

@ladyboyKlLLER oops.. 1 is actually bigger than 0.999... lol

Math can be very confusing and MISLEADING, ESPECIALLY when working with infinitesimals, a concept most people fail to understand properly, resulting in lots of ridiculous ideas such as point particles with ZERO mass and infinite matter, matter that does not exist, infinitely strong fields, 0 is infinite number, 1 is BIGGER than 0.999... etc etc
Abraham Robinson, a hard-working *JEW*, put in a lot of effort to include infinitesimals in the set of real numbers, but nobody cared..

@TherionVVVVV Fine summation. Thanks. Soup

It's seems obvious now that we do live in an Electric Universe, it explains so much more of what's observered, the big difference is that it covers all of the Sciences on all scales, from ancient Mythology right up to Cosmology. Good job that everyone behind it stuck to their guns, thanks for the vids.

Math is Flawed

oh, also. Electrodynamic, or thermodynamic. they are the same. Both can be explained if you understand the Bernoulli principle well enough. (my theory)
you also have to bring back Maxwell's aether...but what do you think "dark matter" is anyway? the medium through which light moves perhaps?

phil splat is working for nazi (sorry NASA) .

Phil Plait is full of shit

Electromagnetism is well understood. Plasma being the fourth state of matter is also well understood. Put forth in various works, it has proven its' productivity, but beyond the work of studying the Solar wind or the Auroras; I find the theories about the EU are not as vigorous as the working standard models science has had since 'Nuclear Theory', General Relativity and 'Quantum Mechanics'.... but any of these can be toppled if and when EU can get a testable model that explains and predicts.

@granddad2002 The EU explains and predicts the filamentary structure of the universe which contradicts the BBT. The EU does not require dark matter and dark energy, nor mathematical abstraction. The only real problem the EU faces dogma, ideology, and vested interests.

I can also vouch for the fact that theoretical physicists/astronomers really p!ss observational astronomers off. Its a well known joke within the profession that theorists try to fit the results to suit their equations, where as observational scientists simply do not, and observe what happens no matter what the results.

Excellent summation.
