I think she was pregnant which is why she didnt do anything. Honestly, if I were pregnant and being attacked, I'm not sure I would fight back either. Fighting back leaves more chance to be beat even more and possibly hurting the baby. I think I'd try to fold over and protect myself as best as possible and I'd try to leave too.
