Security and Emergency Response Training Center

SERTC offers advanced emergency response training at its Colorado facilities in Pueblo and at customer locations worldwide. Our courses are customer driven, based on our customers' needs in the fast-paced arena of emergency response.

The training programs include rail, highway, intermodal, and WMD emergency response, all taught with a team-based approach. Full scale, simulated response exercises may include liquid leaks, vapor releases, fires, and explosions. Our courses are based on the premise that "we learn best by doing" and therefore, our courses provide at least 45% hands-on training.

TTCI's instructors are experienced emergency responders with backgrounds representing a broad spectrum of the emergency response field and are fully cross-trained in many areas of instruction. Leading experts from the Bureau of Explosives, major railroads, chemical shippers, and other specialists regularly serve as guest instructors.
