Lets see if those homophobics here can achieve a fraction of what Liberace did in his life. He survived a major illness, became a celibracy, lived magnificently and died loved by millions of fans. In his days entertainers like himself, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra etc were a special breed. Who was that other piano entetainer, wh used to bop his mouth., from eastern europe. Ah Victor Borge.

EnigmaNZ1:I agree, people should stop judging!!!! Liberace was amazing, and NO ONE will ever come close to what he did!!!! I was only like 5 or 6 when he died,so sadly missed out on him in life. In fact I only discovered him about 3 weeks ago by mistake, though my mom and grandmother were fans. Lee was special thats for sure

I had blessed your heart ever since I saw you play live in Winnipeg. I'm so
sorry you passed way to soon. You will be missed only forever.

@showmanlee really... can you tell me what happened to all the items contained therein?.

@balto4 I visited your channel. I see you love dogs. Liberace adored dogs. His housekeeper Gladys Luckie once told me when he was away on tour she would have to bring each dog to the phone so he could speak to them through the phone.
During my first visit to Vegas in 1989 Gladys still had some of his dogs. Most had passed away. The ones remaining still wore the diamond collars Liberace gave them :)

One of the greatest performers the world will ever know. Everyone from Elvis Presley through to Barbra Streisand especially, and even Lady Gaga today owe a debt of enormous gratitude to this man who paved the way for showmanship at the highest level of entertainment. He was a legend and a genius in his genre. He was also one of the kindest and most gentle of souls. He certainly made this world a better place for the time he was in it. There will never be another like him. God bless him!

Liberace was what even very few entertainers genuinely were. A Star. Not only in his career, but in his life. Unique. And what a gift to us.

Those who can do, those who can't, criticise.
I wonder if his Museum is still open?. It would have been a great shame if it was closed after his death.
