This video shows How to use an SMD DD-1 With a Line Driver installed in the system. I show how to set the gains using high and low level inputs on the line drivers themselves. A cheap Kenwood deck was purchased for this demonstration. KEEP IN MIND EVERYONE - the two line drivers were set up using high and low level inputs. I wouldnt normally use both high and low on the same system, this was JUST to demonstrate how to do each one individually. Normally, as you might guess, one or the other would be used but not both at the same time. Also, BONUS at the end for one VERY LUCKY person who purchased a DD-1. If you are one of the first 500 customers, i suggest you watch this video! I will post up the results tomorrow! Subscribe!

  • if your high inputs clip at vol. 25, but the lows dont distort to vol 33. and you set your mids and highs to vol 24, if you cant turn the vol. to 30 with the high imputs wouldent you not be getting full low input

  • I feel robbed.. My t2500.1bdcp is only rated at 3119 watts RMS :I

  • why do you use a line driver? Is it to keep the signal strong for multiple amps? What is the application for line drivers?

  • @DirtMcGrit Turn the gain on your amp all the way down and hook the dd-1 up to your amp. Turn the epicenter up until it distorts on the dd-1, back it off, then turn the amplifier gain up until it distorts. Then you can turn the epicenter all the way up on the songs you want to and you know it wont be distorting.

  • What are you powering the test bench with?

  • how would i use the DD-1 when using an epicenter in my system???

  • @stevemeade great vid only thing missing is explaining the difference in tracks
