Hold Your Fire was a great album, no question about it. Not many would agree with me, but then again, not many people play bass. That red disc is plagued with many juicy numbers for the four-string flicker to sink his/her teeth into.
This tune, Turn the Page, is a prime example of that. Start out with a cool little bass riff, move to a driving verse with an even deeper version of that cool little bass riff, and then devolve into a rocking beat for the chorus. Great stuff...too bad I can only approximate it...LOL.

I don't know anyone else on Youtube that plays Rush songs on bass like you do, man. You're a true musician with out of this world talent. You make that Rick just hum baby.

Well..being the "rock god" you are supposed to be....you should know you can't TRUELY call this Red album juiced for SOLEY "the 4 string flicker." So lets see how much of a "god" you are and tell me why that is.
Even though you May be able to find out in liner notes. I'd be very impressed if you can. And I'm just a lowly guitar player.
Hint: Do not think of the classic Rickenbacker.

Yes, sometimes. But clearly the most common "you look like..." comment is I get is Randall Graves from Clerks II. Especially on the videos where I wear my Buckeye hat backwards.
Some say Jason Newstead, and I even had someone say I looked like some Nascar driver once.
But Randall Graves is by far the favorite.

It stands for living room rock god. It's a "club" of musicians who all play in their living rooms and post vids on youtube. There is info about it on my channel page (and others).
