After trying Sylvania Silverstar Ultras and Philips Crystal Vision Ultra I decided to go with DDM with all the good reviews I have read. These are there DIgital Slim Ballast with no wiring harness. I Ordered a raptor kit but after waiting for almost a month to get them they shipped me the slim instead. Its a win win for me because i paid 40 for the raptors shipped and the slims originally cost 40 which isn't bad for a easy DIY kit.

  • @badb0ysparkz honestly I have no idea, usually it's recommended that a harness is used, but I'm no expert with lighting.

  • @turkishberkan2 So I just installed my 55w kit and it is bright. But after i turned it off for 20 min and turn them bak on it wouldnt fire up until i turned them off and back on again. Do you think bumping up the stock low bea, fuse from 30amp to 35amp would help or using a wiring harness. They do stay on when I get them on by trying a few times. I will make a video of the 55w once i fixed the problem.

  • @badb0ysparkz Yeah resistors are needed so they don't blink fast. small details like that give a lot of cars a cleaner look imo

  • @turkishberkan2 I wanted to do the turn signals as well too but i heard u need to rewire things and add resistors to it in order for them to work. I just installed the interior leds and license plate leds they're awesome. The plate lights r not too bright they have the same brightness as stock ones but the color output looks like the new BMWs and the interior leds are bright. I got the plate lights at v-leds.com they are the 168 bulb or w5w and the interior lights are from ddmtuning.

  • @badb0ysparkz yeah I was planning on the same thing with the LEDs. I want to do the turn signals too.

  • @turkishberkan2 Yea the stock bulbs were crap and I spent like 50 bucks for silverstars but these r way brighter but 5000k is still a lil blue for me I just ordered a 55w 4500k kit if the 55w is 2 bright I'm gonna just swap ballasts i still notice at night when it rains its still pretty dark but on a normal night they are ok. When I get the 55w i will make a video and let u knw. BTW I also ordered LEDs for my license plate lights and the interior map and dome lights cuz the halogens r 2 hot

  • @badb0ysparkz This is on the top of my mod list. I hate the OEM bulbs we have. I don't even notice it when it rains.

  • @turkishberkan2

Nice. I left the aiming of the headlights stock, the cut off is pretty nice. I just ordered a 55W 4500K kit from ddm. I wanted to see how bright they are if they are too bright I will use the 35W ballasts. I kept all the wiring under the hood neat and clean to make it look stock the ballast fit on the side of the inner hood it might look cramp but you can actually fit the ballasts in there, i used some long and thick zip ties to secure everything up.

  • they're nice. and I saw the videos of the night shots too. How was the cut off and aiming and such? I'm looking into an hid retrofit on my 2.5i too

  • @demid420 Hey, yea these lights r awesome, i will find a time to do a night shot, they do not flicker but at startup u see a bit like really minor, but then after 10 sec. it is strong and bright. WAY better than the crystal visions, and this whole set cost less than the crystal visions I paid 45 dollars for mine shipped from San Diego to Jersey. So far these lights have been good even in the cold weather
