@SteveKayla I agree with you completely. I don't think that Kayla should have ever agreed to marry Jack. She should have turned him down. Like you I always felt that this was a weakness in Kayla at this time. I know she was hurt by Steve's rejection but she never should have turned around and married Jack. I always felt that she married him not only because he was sick but also as a way of hurting Steve. JMO!

The only problem that I had with this story line was that Kayla was at first treated by Steve with such a lack of respect. They should have never allowed Kayla to marry Jack to begin with. Jack was made to believe that he had a chance with Kayla when she agreed to marry him. So naturally he would expect that she really loved him which was a lie. This makes her character look weak if she did not have the decency to reject his marriage proposal in the first place.

Kayla was going through so much pain from what happened with Jack but it was great that Steve was there to love and support her through it. It just shows how much they loved each other. It always amazed me during this story line how Jack always believed that he hadn't done anything wrong.

It's interesting that Jack and Jo have this connection even though he doesn't know that she's his mother at this time.

MBE, SN and MA were amazing in this story line. It was one of my favorites. You could really see the angst.

I felt so bad for Kayla durning this time she was really hurt by what Jack did to her I'm just so happy she had Steve there for her.
