  • In the UK you can ride from 16 years old and you really need to be no heavier than 8st 7lbs as initially apprentices claim 7lbs, then 5lbs, then 3lbs after a number of winners.

  • may i ask what age and wieght limit is it for a jockey to be a jockey? im extremly wanting to be a jockey but im certanly not old enough but i have studied a whole lot on it i just need to know what age it is and wieght limit it is for racing horses. thanx!
