Played this in orchestra one of the few songs that people are quiet for. One of my favorite Christmas songs.

At the time I never thought of anyone hearing this of losing a loved one gone, but I sure know now. Grandpa and Donald. They were there the first time I heard this song. And now they are gone. Please No one take anyone for Granted. Be thankful for your loved ones everyday.... And make sure you tell them you love them.

Miss the Old days. Hate the Present without Grandpa and Donald..... Sorry Don't mean to keep Posting. This is My Peace, and good Memories of when I was young. Can't watch much of the home video of what I want these days with hubby around. He just sighs and rolls his eyes. Guess I can just listen here, and remember. I will always remember this song, in the most important time of the home video. Just makes me sad. I only post this at Christmas. 5 years since Gramps died. 7 for Donald.

I first listened to this song in 1991. My mother passed away in 1990 and I took this song and played it at her grave. I cried like a baby. She would have so loved this song. It makes me cry every time I hear it. It is the most beautiful rendition I've ever heard. I miss my mother!
