Hopefully this will show people how to do basic attacks correctly so they will stop complaining that the controls are broken and unresponsive when they are actually really intuitive.

  • so do u have 2 use the numchuk? cos i'm getting this game 4 xmas n a nintendo wii so if i tell my dad now then i can actualy play the same wen i get it =P

  • Yep, you need to use the nunchuck. But the Nintendo Wii comes with a nunchuck in the box, so you don't have to purchase an extra one.

  • Dude whats the traffic light system mean in fighting?

u start on nothing, then gradually goes up to red, yellow then green when u dont get hit by enemies...

can it go higher than green? bottom left hand corner of the screen is the logo

holla.. shout out to the UK!!!! Reppin okami lol

  • yeah, that's the godhood ability. the more combos you string together with consecutive hits on enemies, your godhood increases. it essentially acts as a shield with green being the highest and with each time you get hit, your godhood decreases. basically, having a green shield means you can get 3 free hits without taking damage, a yellow shield is 2 free hits, etc.

i also think using the travelers charm can increase your godhood.

  • i have a question...i don't know much bout wii and i'm interested in buying it.so my question is : do u get the iimote with the wii and do u get the wiisport for free too? by wiimote i mean the thing that u do movements with like in wiisoprt bowling, plz reply

  • yep, you get a wiimote, nunchuck and wii sports all for free. I would recommend getting wii play too because that comes with a free wiimote as well. and mario kart wii comes out on sunday and that comes with a free steering wheel for the wiimote!

  • Are you using Wii Motion Plus? And how close do you have to be to the sensor bar? Or do you think it's worth going out and buying the Motion Plus and a better sensor bar?

  • @Nosfarastus No. If you look on the back of the game case it shows the Wii mote and Nun chuck and no other controllers, so you cannot use the classic controller.

  • A quick question, I'm a veteran from the PS2 version so I was wondering if the combat controls are also the same for the Rosary Beads and the Glaives?

  • OMG THANK YOU!!!

Wow a lot of people complained about the wii thrust when... it's really not hard... like, at all XD

If people expect to just wiggle the wii remote expecting things to be perfect... use the Rosaries =P

It's about timing... time it right, and you're golden... as he has proven :D

    Thank you again.

  • This is defiantly one of the best games I've ever played. The only problem I had with it was the timing of the attack combinations. its hard to get into rhythm when you're being attacked from so many different angles

  • the wii one suks the ps2 rock :D

  • This is why im getting a wii such fun looking games!

  • Can you play it with the classic controller

  • @Hazard598 Glaives are beastly, I agree. I personally swear by rosaries. Basically, you have to lift the wiimote while keeping it parallel to the floor to charge. Then you swing it down to attack. I think so, anyways. Like I said, I'm a fan of beads.
