im applying to colleges this year. Im scared i wont be accepted to any college i have a low GPA of 2.0, 745, average. I will take the SAT test this month. I am really good at test and i been studying for this test so i hope to do good. My regents are all (but 2) above 75. My High School i am taking College Now classes witch looks good. i Just hope i get accepted to a good decent or too any 4 year college.

@applepie1ize If your gifted or amazing at a certain subject I will advice you to take SAT subject tests that looks really good also. Plus it shows colleges what subject your best at.

@GHrockbandNL oh and I almost forgot to tell you to make your college essay stand out. Also if you do unique things that makes you stand out. For example I know this guy who got accepted to Yale because he wrote an essay about sneakers and this other girl that got accepted to princeton because she did something different and unique she hatched quails in her room before. Weird,Unique,Different personality qualities attract colleges especially ivy league colleges that would love more diversity.

@GHrockbandNL You do not have to take AP exams for admission to colleges in america but it just looks really good and take the most challenging courses at your school. But aim for a 4 or 5 on the AP exams so you can get college credit for it. Also do some extracurricular activities like sports,drama club,student government etc... (leadership positions look better) or if you have any hobbies that make you stand out as a person that's good too. Also do tons of community service & get a job.

@GHrockbandNL Yes it is possible to go to a college in america. But when going to a college in america well at least a decent or good one I will advice you to take the SAT's it is expensive and hard but it is worth it. (the higher the score the better the college) If you can take college courses, that looks really good for colleges. you should also take AP exams. AP exams are college level exams in america we have AP courses that prepare you for exams but u can also self-teach yourself.
