equalizer or convolvers. richter actually made one other recording around the same time in moscow with a better orchestra

Thanks for this upload - amazing to hear Richter's version of this masterpiece. My only complaint is that the timpani is kinda lost - there are so many fun piano-timpani "conversations" in this piece... you can't really hear them here. Is there any artificial way of adjusting this?

I can't even begin to imagine Richter used to walk the same concert halls as I in Romania. He's a hero to me.

I just imagine that this concert was in Ateneul Roman, as there is no mention of that on the release.
It would be unforgettable to listen to Richter in that beautiful hall.
