this dude doesn't know all of his facts... Kennedy wanted to splinter the CIA because the CIA lied to him. This almost seems like Disinformation.

He wanted to splinter the CIA because his plan on overthrowing Castro didn't work. The CIA "lied" to him about issues which made Kennedy mad because his illegal operation failed. YOU don't have your facts straight. Kennedy was a hawk who wanted to murder Castro, not make peace with him.

@jneil2007 He was lied to by the CIA and told the cuban people wanted it and would rise up. CIA chief Dulles had a huge financial interest that had been usurped. JFK saw the U.S. as being born from just revolution and therfore the need to support it around the world. In his last known press conference when asked about the nationalization of industry in Argentina he responded ' we cannot ask of a sovereign and independent nation not to want to seek self-determination within its own borders'

If all this is true, then we've been bullying them for years. It's a lot to ask, but I wonder if they'd ever forgive us as a nation. We're a whole new generation, and the world's at our fingertips. Hopefully one day we can all be friends again.

This is what makes me wonder about Kennedy, the bay of pigs. Why did he go through with it? I support his action to fix our monetary system though. He is the only president to ever try to fix the problem of our debt based money system we have had since the end of the civil war.
