Ondoy victims ask for equal distribution of assistance

Typhoon Ondoy (international codename Ketsana) flooded Maly, a village in San Mateo, Rizal. The whole village submerged in 2-3m-deep water for 2 days - 26-27 September 2009. The villagers clamor for equal distribution of relief goods. Relief good distributors should help all victims rather than pre-selected recipients. Local government of San Mateo has no proper system on how to help its constituency.

we're also victims of ondoy but received nothing (!) from the local government of san mateo as well as from the national government. we received nothing as well from abs-cbn and gma because we did not have time to line up for the queue as our properties were terribly damaged by the flood. only those who were unharmed/less-harmed had the time to do so. distributions of aide were done with cameras switched "on." i lost my job due to ondoy but am still jobless until now. (i'm a cs eligible).
