I wonder if there have been studies done that break down the height of the rider vs like the 29er. I tried to get fitted for a 29er and the top tube was just too high even in a small. I am 5' 9"

@RBK855 Sure, 29ers are not superior for everyone's needs, but they are for most peoples needs. The reasons they are better for most people's needs have been explained in this video. Even as the facts presented are valid, you refer to them as "bullshit science" simply because you personally prefer a 26" wheeled bike. Proving that information is false and having contempt for information are two different things. The only point you have made is that you prefer 26ers to 29ers.. Who cares?

@RBK855 I guess "better" to you means " absolutely superior" .. to me, "better" means "relatively superior" which 29ers ARE. I have had six 26er's and two 29ers... I have a 2010 Gary Fisher HiFi Deluxe .. and i ride faster, technically superior and with less wrecks than i ever have before and im 43. 29ers ARE better. There is a reason they are outselling 26ers now and its not because of any kind of fad or fashion. ITs because they are generally BETTER. Yes, that's right, they are BETTER.

Have ridden mountain bikes for 20 years, worked in the trade for ages and ridden virtually every brand out there. Have never loved any bike as much as my Superfly, (And I'm only 5' 4'')
