@larredgar you are stupidly ignorant to make such foolish uninformed comments, the pentagon gave sophisticated military support to the Rwandans who invaded & caused the civil war that caused 10 million lives lost,they together with the British paid salaries of kagame's troops who invaded Rwanda & caused the genocide, they assassinated(CIA admitted) Lumumba & put the dictator Mobutu in power,they bombed Africa's independently built medical plant in Sudan(clinton). i think we should give china a chance instead of the west throwing aid and stupid regulations at african countries. china are building infrastructure that africans can see look at what they've done in luanda, angola they basically built up a new city. incredible.

This is fair trade resources in exchange for badly needed infrastructure projects. This is something that benefits the Congo and all of Africa. The Congos resources are finally being put to good use for the benefit of the nation and it's peoples. This is going on all through out Africa the West is in an uproar over Chinese investment in Africa. If it didn't benefit the continent nothing would have been said, but the western media will continue to slander China.
