Nasty Raccoons Attack My Backyard!

Those nasty raccoons attacked the grass again. They peel off the sod looking for worms.

It is Steven King! The real scary creature is invisible - it's the Japanese beetle. You know this - the raccoon buffet is J.beetle larvae. Milky Spore from the hardware store is win-win. It inoculates the soil & grubs never come back. Neither will the raccoons - except to eat the garbage!! Entice neighbors to spread Milky Spore also - eradicate J.beetles in the area. You grow some beautiful grass & soil looks lovely...You'd be great at vegetable gardening. In addition to incredibly funny! :-)

Do you have armadillos where you live? I lived in texas for over a year and caught them red handed doing this same thing to my mother in laws front yard.

@MakeMeUnique1 raccoons are nasty, they will kill cats and small dogs, chickens and other small pets. they spread distemper, worms and rabies. we could do with less raccoons

Solution to the Problem buy a Crossbow wait for them to appear at night and enjoy getting rid of the problem.

moth balls are the real trick, however they are eating grubs that are destroying your grass as well.
