what if you were in njrotc at your high school since you know most of the drill can you get like a higher rate/rank

You may get elevated to the rank of a drill team "squad leader," but your rank in the Battalion would be that of a 4/C Midshipmen (the lowest = freshman) unless you've got a lot of college classes finished already and are in a sophomore/junior classmen status. In that case you would be a 3/C, 2/C, Seniors are 1/C, etc...
