What the crap? You honestly don't have the smallest idea of what you are talking about! I ride a 7 yr old Paso in an amazing collected forte in a reg. bosal hackamore. But you are one of the stupid riders who thinks pain is the way to go! You don't have to have a bit to have an amazing horse.

Listen rodeosabuseanimals you can ride horses in halters in fact i have riden all 7 of my horses in halters and 2 are walking horses and the rest are pasos. one paso is a stallion and i can ride him in just a halter. So honestly you need to keep your mouth shut about people needing harsh bits to ride bcus they dont. I have ridden all my horses in just halter & leadline in the ocean. And 2 of our horses 1 walkng horse the other a paso can be ridn with no sadle or bridle. so keep your mouth shut!

yea. have you ever been to the national championships to watch?

Thank you. He is normally more supple then this. He was being a butt!!!

While your username, rodeosabuseanimals, points to you being a lunatic PETA lover and thus you won't listen to anything that I have to say, I'll say it anyhow. Almost all Paso Finos can be ridden in just a bosal or halter. aka: No bit. My show mare is ridden AT SHOWS without a bit in the fun classes. When a Paso Fino DOES have a bit in, the riders all have /extremely/ soft hands and aside from collecting the horse up and asking him to engage his hindquarters, the bit is hardly touched at all.

if you havent noticed. my hands are still everywhere but that side of the arena. my options are A.) to work his head and keep his mind off of the scary wall or B.) let him take off across the arena. and do i need to post a video of my riding him bareback with a halter to prove to you i can ride him like this? i never ride this horse with a saddle. he is my best friend and i would never hurt him. i ride him in from the pasture by using his flymask to steer. take your ignorant comments elsewhere!

yes. he can be a butt sometimes. but he is TERRIBLE every year in this arena. he hates it.

It looks like you had a bit of a battle going on :-D At least he didn't go tearing through the arena (I had a horse do that in a show!).
Beautiful little horse!
Your not the only one who has a horse with a problem in this arena I live there and have had many horses freak out over the wall and ESP the gate
