  • I messed around with both, and i feel like I get a better effect from starting light, doing a set, move up to heavy, doing another, and then going back to a light weight

  • looks like a 16lb.

  • This is a good workout.

  • where can i get that kind of tire...what kind is it ?

  • force equals mass times velocity so it could go either way, but i think it depends on the strength of the person. personally i would go for a lighter hammer and swing faster.

  • If you go out to the country a lot of farms have Tires laying around that you can take for free. That's how I got mine. I have a one that weighs about 150 and another one that's maybe 250 or more.

Anyway this is great workout. Cheap and effective at building core strength and Punching Power. If you remember Big George Foreman used to chop wood for hours on end and that's how he built his power. Some concept here. Great Workout

  • That is just an incredibly simple yet incredibly effective and fruitful workout - If only tires that size were cheaper

  • how heavy is that sledgehammer. Are boxing club had to special order a 50lb hammer for excercise
