How Can I Slap?

So after listening to pretty much everyone in the world tell me how I should piano my buttons, I decided to take it into the lab and see what worked. Honda's Jab to Fierce Hands was the perfect test bed.

The Mr. Snk way of doing things is Jab, Fierce, Strong, Jab, Fierce (which I find uncomfortable). I ended up doing Jab, Strong, Fierce, Jab, Fierce (pretty much the opposite). Rolling left to right just makes more sense to my hand (index to ring).

Hm, how fast do you have to piano? I mean, I use a piano technique with Gen sometimes and his Slaps come out fine, but when I try to do it with E.Honda, he just does a s.HP?

@ROFLross It's like 5 inputs within 3 frames, and the crouching jab to start the combo is one of those inputs, making it a little easier. Just focus on evenly spacing each button press and ramping up the speed until the combo comes out. Pay close attention to input display to make sure you're not hitting two buttons at the same time, because you'll get ex hands.

I thought there was some wierd reason, that someone should do the Mr.SNK method of piano. Like it only combos with these inputs in certain situations?

I also felt uncomfortable with this, but I forced myself to learn it like that.

@chefrobsen It's just because most people generally can roll their fingers from right to left better than left to right. I am clearly the opposite, however.

weird I've never met anyone else that feels more natural drumming index to pinky (ok I still haven't, but I know of one now!). I know the "normal" way people drum their fingers is pinky to index but I just don't see how that can feel right!

Well thanks for the vid, if you eventually got it, it gives me more hope to eventually get the paining characters b&b's down.
