Boaventura de Sousa Santos no FSM 2010

Durante a 10ª edição do Fórum Social Mundial, o sociólogo português Boaventura Cardoso fala sobre os riscos de governos de direita se apropriarem de programas sociais, como o Bolsa Família e similares na América Latina. Isso significa que os governos progressistas latino-americanos não puseram em movimento um outro modelo de sociedade. "Transferências de rendimento não põem em causa o modelo econômico". Ele fala ainda sobre a atual situação do Haiti, e a ocupação militar para manter o controle dos EUA sobre a região e prejudica a chegada de ajudas humanitárias.

These leftists destroyed my fatherland after the carnation revolution back in 1974-76, the new governments had to call the IMF twice, and now they socialist party destroyed completely all that was left! It's the 3rd time the IMF comes to Portugal, because of these bastards! Portugal is traditionally an ally of the U.S. and that will remain that way!
