@musood6630 I am not against Islam as an individual choice, i have nothing against Muslim either, but the Clergy as an institution must be destroyed, and that is my red line, no compromis on that, what ever the price is, we will pay it, The Clergy and all it.s structures must and will be destroyed.

@Shahrex I can understand where you're coming from. In Afghanistan the clergy of Mulahs destroyed the culture of us Tajiks who make up 40% of the population and tried to replace our ancient Dari language. But the blame is on the individual and no the faith. Mohammad Reza Shah and his son are devout Muslims but politically Islam must be separated from the government. For Iran to succeed everyone must be united, Muslim, Zoroastrian, Bah'ai, Jewish. Most of Shah's supporters were MUslim

@musood6630 Hello Again! Boroojerdi was an exception, but even him, was for the Shah just because he was Against Mossadegh-Tudeh alliance, besides, Even Khomeini was at the beginning for the Shah, they knew that the time was not mature for a take over during the cold war. Of course there has been individual with good features among the clergy too, but the clergy as an institution in Iran has always been a parallell government interfering in politics, education, finance and politics in Iran.

@Shahrex I don't get how that is true. Boujaderi was there at the Shah's wedding, Coronation, he went to Karbala and risked his life to bless the Shah. Many Iranian cultural icons such as Ferdowsi, Khayam, Hafez, and Sa'adi were Muslims to the utmost extent yet they have contributed greatly to Iran and i't history? Before there was Iran, in Khorosan did not Avicenna-Balkhi (Bactria, Afghanistan) go and propel spreading his knowledge to Hamadan? You are approaching things with one dimension.

@musood6630 I speak Persian only. Not everything The Shah did was right, his alliance with Clergy was Fatal , the same Clergy who betrayed Reza Shah, Mosaddegh, the constitutional movement, the same monarchy which destroyed him, and Bahtiar. It is not important if a minority of clergy pretends to be secular, the clergy's history in Iran is 1000 years of continuous betrayal, conspiracy and antagonism towards persian culture, art, freedom, science and progress. The clergy must be destroyed forever
-
@Shahrex Do you speak Dari or Farsi? (Just asking).
As Reza Pahlavi (son of the Shah) said. It's not about destroying the faith because the faith has served as a moral compass in Iran since the Safavids. But it's about separating the clergy completely from the government. Some Mullah's like Montazeri or especially the Shah's own Mullah Bouajederi were quite secular in terms of government administration. The danger lies when men such as Khomeini who are extremists take power and screw things up.

@musood6630 Dear compatriot! You are absolutely wrong, The Shah was too weak and one of his greatest mistakes was his weakness for Islam and Clergy.
-
@Shahrex It's quite ironic that you diss Islam when the Shah died with Azan playing in the background buried with his own personal Qu'ran and the traditional prayers by his wife and son. Not to mention his name is Mohammad Reza, both Arabic in nature.

@MuhannadAyyash Maybe true. But the point is that there is still a BIG difference between a government that kills 1,000 and one that kills 40,000, although not all of those were innocent, anyway.
