@wurtz1987 I agree with you to a point, but you can't deny that this song is somewhat about Jesus. I mean the song is called Save Me and he directly references a man spending 40 days in the desert and faith was the only thing he needed. Take that as you like, but to me that is a direct reference to Jesus.

@twostep03 do you know what faith mean? i dont believe in religion, but i still have faith. i think you should learn what its mean. no offence
-
@twostep03 its about faith, not jesus.

@twostep03 hes an agnostic but i agree otherwise. one of the greatnesses of his writing is definitely his way of describing expreriences or stories he doesnt necessarily believe in or hasnt experienced first-hand
-
@twostep03 of course it is. Dave is actually agnostic, but to neglect a large fan base simply due to religion, would be a loss of revenue.
First of all...Great cover. I was getting a beer at Dave caravan Chicago and i swear i saw you walking around lol.
anyway, this song is making fun of christians who walk around talking about saving peoples soul ( as dave says at the radio city "this song is a comedy song"). Its pretty obvious as he says- How about a drink or a bite to eat?" He said "No, my faith is all I need"So then, save me Save me mister walking man...If you can

This song isn't about jesus, Dave doesnt believe in Jesus

@gators409 so Christmas Song isn't about Jesus either? Dave might be an atheist but Jesus was a real living person. Whether he believes he was the messiah or not, you can't deny his existence. Also, Dave directly references God in several songs. Religion is one of the main themes of his writing
