@prelude511 Ive been having intake issues with my 2002 GT. when it is warm outside the car tends to make a sound like its got a vacuum around 4500rpm and it loses power. Ive been looking at a AEM cold air intake and i was wondering whether i would have to chip the car or do any modifications to the computer.

How much of a power difference did you notice with your new intake because i just bought a 2003 eclipse gt and i'm looking at different intakes and my friend suggested AEM but i'm unsure of what i should get

You really won't feel a noticeable difference with just an intake, if you're truly buying it because you think you'll feel a power gain then you would be better off just saving your money.
