Corsica never been a part of Italy, even if Genoa invaded Corsica, the island didn't belong to genoa, Corsica belongs to Corsicans who lives there since ever, Corsican are free people even if France stolen the island they will always be free. I'm Corsican before to be french, but I respect and I like france, even if they stolen my island, I just want France respect Corsica and its people. Peace

Corsica should be a country but France are doing a great job of keeping it rented for some more years.. They should had done this also with Quebec City.
** Maybe Corsica never had a massacre going on there but Napoleon was born and raised there.

got any proff that italy EVER controlled corsica???
genoa did, but at the time it wasent a part of italy at the time, italy only came into being in 1870, 100 years after the genoans sold corsica to the french. it never was italian territory.
PS: there never was or is any massacre going on in corsica. if you can prove otherwise feel free to post a source.

I think france should return Nice and Corsica to Italy. Just let them go. Never ever try to keep things that do not belong to you, France.
