Sliding shafts can help in accentuating the action of the harness breaching and traces allowing for loser fitting of the breaching and traces, and helps cut down on the push pull action on the saddle when turning tightly.
Sliding shafts can be beneficial in competition, but are not a must have, they do take a little bit of experimentation in adjusting the harness to take advantage of the moving shafts.

  • Whats the rules for having a horse and buggy on the road? Lights at night run on battery? And is it even legal to do so? Ive seen special horse shoes made of rubber for horses on the street. Im sick of these gas prices and cars in general, we need to go back to the old days of horse and buggy and say F*** the governments oil they can have it.
