http://www.essentialtennis.com/ Many tennis players aren't comfortable using "mini tennis" as a way to warm up before a practice session. I strongly suggest that you keep practicing it as a way to build your timing and confidence before hitting full speed shots each time you hit the practice court!

  • @andrewpmast he's using a semi-western grip

  • @haedulus Based on what I can see, he's using a western or somewhere in the semi-western/western grip. I've tried it and although it feels strange at first, I have noticed that I can get under the ball more using a low-to-high lift and the racket is just slightly angled upward when it's at the ideal contact point. It however seems to make low forehand balls hard to lift up. If I hit it and the ball flies into the net, I probably didn't have enough upward motion, so it's a good feedback grip.

  • how bout some backhands?

  • is the guy in red using western?

  • Stop making fun of the fat dude.

  • totally agree on mini tennis

  • it is essential for tenns. I will do sometimes.
