  • @tjw1963 thanks . i will post the project soon

  • @tjw1963 Okay thank you. I'm sorry I didn't respond, lost my password to all of my accounts. Again, thank you for the info.

  • @redbullbunni The symbol chart on my crochet blog will show you exact stitch placement. It does show the half shell at the beginning and end. The written instructions are the same as the video. They just describe the stitch in a different way.

  • @tjw1963 I've read the written instructions, they are different from what you are doing. In row 2, you chain 2 instead of 1 the you've typed out, and there is no pull up in a long loop. You did a great job at showing us what a cluster is and how to make one, not to mention a cluster shell. But when it comes to a half-cluster, there's no clear instruction. You show at the beginning of row two a DC, CH 2, and then a CL. And at the end, a CL, CH 2, and then a CL. The Ts look the same as a CL.

  • @redbullbunni If you open up the video details below the video, you will find the link to the written instructions. There you will find details with a symbol chart and written instructions.

  • @tjw1963 Thank you for clearing that up, I was a little confused as to why I some chains left over with chaining 150 for a baby blanket. :) But I do have one more question, a half cluster is a DC, CH 2, and then a CL like it is at the beginning of the second row? Or is it a CL, CH 2, and then a CL at the end of the second row? I'm just a little confused by that. Again, thank you for these videos. It has helped a lot with relearning all that I've forgotten.

  • @TheKara1983 It takes 8 chains to make each segment of the pattern. If you want 2, you will have 16 chains. 4 will be 32 chains. There is always an extra amount of chain at the beginning the may give you an odd chain amount. This is to make up the difference. It can be confusing so I recommend that you just make a chain amount for the width. You will wind up with extra chain, but you can sew that in between your stitches upon completion.

  • I have a question as usual, you say in tutorial its a multply of 8, but you do 26. What does this mean I am confused. Thank you
