he's just a scrapper in general, he thinks that steam locomotives pollute the air WAY too much, when there are so many other places and things that do even worse pollution. oh well, he doesn't know anything.
I know who. its that Cockroach guy who's some scrap dealer, and tells people where to steal parts off steam locomotives. He has since disappeared from youtube, or at least has not crossed my path for several months.
@SierraRailway That would make sense. It sounds thicker now, but probably from repairs. But for sure it now bares a new whistle which is a 5-chime. I wonder what happened to the 6-chime.
I highly doubt it was REPLACED. maybe the shop crew did some cleaning, and the decided to machine it down on the inside to make it nice and smooth, I mean I'm sure that clapper does some good damage after 70 years of clanging.
The bell on her now sounds totally different from when it did in the 90s. There must have been a new bell placed on her but made to sound like the old one. Her current bell sounds more sluggish and not as s clear as the one in this video does.

@SierraRailway I think that's why he hates steam engines from bad experience on the V&T.
Is he really a locomotive scrapper.

@SierraRailway Thanks. Who on earth would be crazy enough to steal a steam whistle?

@Miserlou57 I think the V&T crew is putting it on the 18, she has a weird 3-chime on her now, however the 29 has a beautiful 5-chime on her now.
