I never noticed, but it`s funny that Kate mentions "The Cleary`s"... Back then "The Thornbirds" were popular and the story takes place in OZ...and we all know who the Cleary`s were :-)

gibbo had to fly after the original pilot turned up for flying still drunk from the night before and george baxter and chris accompanied him on the plane as emma and violet made other arrangements to go back to the crossing.
