even though it is also on ReelNASA and NASATV, I wanted to upload it here for my subscribers.
This is the full version of the ascent video highlights that the folks here at JSC put together using ground, air, SRB, and ET imagery assets.

  • At 4:14, what are those red lines for inside the SRB holes? Thanks for the amazing Ascent videos!!!

  • @HNDNV07 I think they are to prevent folks walking on the MLP deck falling in the water suppression pit below. sort of a safety barrier, but I am not positive.

  • Amzing footage. It gave me goose bumps

  • Actually they're water "bags" for additional sound-suppression to prevent the SRB exhaust from "bouncing" back up at the shuttle-stack from the floor of the flame-trench.
