  • @j22D like emerald stones and platinum clasps

  • Does anyone know the complete lyrics to this song ? I've looked for years ,but nobody seems to know what is said after the line "emerald stones and platinum ..." ?

  • @DEMOWAGON like emerald stones and platinum clasps

  • The Zombies will play in Belgium on 12th November at De Steiger in Menen. So, Belgian viewers, please go and see them!

  • I was surprised to see Keith Airy singing. I can't quite hear his pitch- Any idea what parts he was singing?

  • Difficult to say. But I think he's singing together with Colin. I guess we'll have to wait for the release of the DVD to sort this out.

  • TRULY MAGICAL

  • great singing -40 years on- i am in awe; a mature album for 22 year old guys then; they seem to be right age for singing these songs now, about being older and wise and having survived

  • Such a beautiful song....still holds up so wonderfully after all these years

  • @nhbright Actually Paul & Hugh sang on this one because they ran out of tracks for vocal overdubs -- Abbey Road was still only 4 tracks in 1967 -- so they needed to record all five parts at the same time on the one remaining track.

  • does anyone know the chords?

  • I saw them do this show in Manchester 24-4-09. Utterly awesome. Rod plays the Mellotron on this one... I know - I was transfixed by him playing a REAL Mellotron! As for Darian, Rod praised him onstage pointing out he played a huge part in this show and knew every note of the album including parts Rod had forgotten! Superb talent is Darian and indeed Brian Wilson's Smile would never had been completed without him.

  • wow i love them

  • According to the book Hung up on a Dream both Hugh Grundy and Paul Atkinson sang on this song as a last effort of group harmony during recording.
