ESF Global Environment Field trip

On Thursday September 30, 2010, students in Mr. Gardner's ESF in the High School Global Environment class, from Solvay High School, took a field trip to SUNY ESF. While there, students were able to take a tour of the campus and its facilities, hear a lecture by Dr. Rick Beal on Systems and the demise of the Easter Island population. They worked with students from other schools on a systems diagram and discussed major environmental issues and possible solutions. The class ended the field trip with a tour of the paper production plant as well as the greenhouses.
