Me 109, Me 110, Focke Wulf, etc. VS B17 flying fortress, P51 Mustang, etc..
Music: Flieger marsch, Luftwaffe marsch, Parademarsch Legion Condor.

@pauls317 The real shit isn't this footage but your comment. "Fuck hitler" ok... but its a big mistake to think that all german soldiers were nazi and were for Hitler during the WW2 and especially in the end...
Just have respect for those pilots and soldiers. Allies or Germans who cares.

@il2gambit The Luftwaffe pilots did their part. Winning or losing isn't the point. What is important is that they did what they could with the materials they had and they did it with honor. My grandfather flew the 109 and I couldn't be more proud to say that. You're "ashamed" about losing? A soldier does what's necessary, regardless of the end result. You need to remember the principles that we live by and forget about "losing". Self pity has no place, only Honor.

I lived near an american base during ww2. It was for bomber crew to recouperate from these flights, the men feared returning to the war and I felt sorry for them. And now I can see why. Most did not survive these flights.

@wideafukinwake Cause they couldn't make it that far. And if they had those FW 190's would have made short work of them.

It was later possible to reconstruct the situation using models, used for training purposes and also evaluating weapon effects, looking for pilot mistakes etc...

@Bramak17 More US pilots got "blasted" as you say, but there simply were more US pilots and the german Luftwaffe was weakend by the past war years.
