Up three games to none in the first round of the 2004-05 Central League playoffs, the Colorado Eagles were going for the sweep of the Tulsa Oilers—in Oklahoma's Green Country, no less. They were blown out 7-3, and a brawl ensued that resulted in virtual skeleton crews on both team benches. The game was delayed about 15 minutes, and even the goalies got a piece of one another. Ironically, this all took place on April Fools' Day. You be the judge as to whom the joke was on.

  • Eagles won the championship that year and steamrolled Tulsa. I would love to send you a post card from the 2007 Playoffs but I don't know the address of Tulsa's Golf Course where the Oilers are playing this summer.

  • The BOK Center is nicer. Although Bigger.

    We need an AHL team.

  • jtmd11 -- I think you need to follow up on the teams playing before you post a comment about how "the team in the red could use a few lessons on how to fight"
