Dressin' Up Full Length

The final song off of the album. I love how the original songs are just as good as the covers, and aren't just cheap filler. I do have mp3s of all the songs(recorded by me off of the actual cassette) if anyone should wish to have any, but do know that I advocate the re-release of this album by Mattel, and will stop if it ever becomes available for purchase. All songs and images are copyrighted by Mattel, Inc 1988.
****Show that fans of this line of dolls, and their music, still exist. Purchase the Barbie and the Rockers re-release doll from the "Time Capsule" collection, available Feb.2009. It's a nice looking doll, and comes with some extra goodies, so it is well worth the purchase.****

@deelove1978 The Barbie and the Rockers album was an actually sold in stores soundtrack. You are thinking of the cassette that came with the dolls. The soundtrack features full length versions of the actual recordings from the 2 cartoon specials. The other cassette has different songs, and different (cheaper) recordings of the few songs that are the same. I only have the soundtrack album, not the other tape.

I am a 30 year old guy, and, I've actually got tears welling in my eyes as I listen to this.

My sister (two years younger) was given the doll as a gift for her 6th or 7th birthday, and, I recall enjoying this particular track whenever she put the tape on.

It's bringing back a flood of memories of my childhood.

My sister and I don't get along, but, I'd love to be able to get a hold of this on tape, again, and give it to her as a gift to perhaps mend our relationship.
