Good job. It looks like you guys are having a lot of fun -- even though I don't understand what you are saying ;) I'd have to give this a try on my Super Wild Card DX! Thanks for making this.
-

-

REMAKE THE SNES!!!!!!
you could build this you can remake the SNES!!!!!
-
you should make more you know
becuase you'll never know if it'll crash
by the way
ours snes consal broke is it posibel for you to make one?
Sorry if I am saying something totally idiotic here but...
How is it even possible for a SNES to run that game? Look at the quality of the background during the fight! I've never seen SNES game like it... I know this is a homebrew game, but is your SNES modified? I don't see how and ordinary SNES could possibly be powefull enough.

Good question!
There's no modification required.
But you are right, these hi-color, realistic backgrounds are very uncommon in most snes games. There's a 256color video mode on the snes, though, that's what I use.
The reason it was used so rarely is that these images take away lots of space, just like the voice acting.
Nowadays, that's no issue, but back in the days bigger games meant higher prices.
See, this tiny game with just 4 levels is 16Mbits in size - That's just as big a Secret of Mana!!

There are flashcarts and backup units available for the SNES. You copy games to them with your PC, plug em into your SNES and play.
