決まり技　下段腕がらみから肘締め。
合気道と打撃を融合させた試合形式の合気道です。上級者は、顔面掌打・金的蹴りを認めた実践武術組手も行 っています。

合気道技は一教～四教、小手返し、四 方投げ、肘締め、肘極め、入り身投げ系、呼吸投げ系、入り身突き、腰投げ、などほぼ全 ての技の使用が認められています。打撃はフルコンタクトルール＋胴着の掴み。打撃より合気道技優先です。

従来は実践では掛からないと言われてきた合気道技ですが、組手を行うことにより、実践において充分に使用可能な技術となります。

組手や試合では、お互いに合気道技を熟知した選手同士が技を掛け合います。その中でも１本勝ちが出ますので、素人と相対した場合はより容易に制することができます。過度に­相手を傷付けることなく制圧できる合気道技は護身術にも適しております。

Man in Red helmet, u should have roll (ukemi) to escape from that lock. Because your opponent didn't pin your body, so you can do forward roll.

how can u defeat someone if u just having a handshake??

But this is very nice.. I'm agree with sanarkhos. Aikido have to grow with sparring and less demonstration.

If u just learn demonstration year by year, u are only good in dancing... Because it's just a choreography not reality...

I'm glad someone in the world of Akido is trying to incorporate sparring. It's due to sparring that Judo and BJJ were born out of traditional jiu-jitsu, and why anything who has fought can usually beat anyone who hasn't. I don't see how any system can genuinely be called a martial art without actual fighting.

That being said, you guys ought to learn some throws. Trying to grab each-others wrists is pretty pointless in a real fight unless you've been mounted. I see zero body control here.
