Thanks for videos, they are excellent.

I just just saw the "American pickers" episode, here in Australia.

I loved Ron's place, and went searching for more info.

I have be excavating under my own house for years.

But don't get too far, because the bedrock is so shallow.

Just wondering if Ron ever hits large stones or rock ?

I am trying to picture the whole place. Are they just rooms dug out underground ? Is there an actual house ontop. Is it in the side of a hill that leads under ground ? How many ways are there to get in ? Has he ever had a cave-in ? Has he ever had water in his basement or his basments basement ? Where is the room with all the guns and food for when the end of the world comes ?

@TheGrandCapt -LOL, Ron doesn't think about end of the world type stuff- To Ron,if he couldn't dig holes or rummage through abandoned properties..THAT would be the end of the world!There is a house and buildings on top-About 13 buildings all connected by ABOVE ground tunnelsThe only reason he even has all the underground rooms is that he ran out of room on the property to put more buildings,so that's when he started to dig down. There are about 14 underground rooms, connected by tunnels.

Just wanted to mention. Many people have been asking about Mike and Frank the American Pickers, and making accusations that they are rip off artists. They are no such thing. They were great. They were very nice, and don't try to force anything on anyone. There was a lot of stuff Ronald didnt even show them, and they didn't push him. There were many things they wanted to buy, Ron wouldnt sell so they didnt push him. They were very respectful. Anything they buy is because the owner wanted to sell.

This guy was neighbors with my uncle in Butler, Pennsylvania.. about 10 years ago or so I was at his place, he loved showing people around.. it's pretty amazing walking through those tunnels of stuff.
