  • any body know how much they are asking for it? I might be interested.

  • @barrykirke Not sure on that one but I really hope it goes to someone who's going to look after it well.

  • Still not playing perfectly, missing notes again in the Saxaphones,i never did like the midi system on this organ, plays so much better with books!

  • @fairgrounddiva Well no it isn't a good thing as it's playing all the time and not as the arranger intended. On the 89/98 key VB scale, the Glockenspiel is on a register and therefore shouldn't be playing all the time.

  • @ceredigio The Glock is always in play whenever the Piccolo holes in the book pass over the keyframe and shouldn't be. The Piccolo should be able to play solo or together with the Glock when its register is selected.

  • @StuartMulcrow By this do you mean that the glock plays all the way through a book? It does not appear to be doing so here!

  • @petermackett37 I think our Poppins 'friend' gave the figures their names Peter. He's the one who has always refered to them as 'George' and 'Lily' in his posts on here.

  • @ceredigio The first one is Charles Chiappa and the other two Louis Blache, yes, the keyframe is still there and i have no idea how the figures got their names!

  • @petermackett37 Despite having a chip system attached to it I think it still retains its card-playing mechanism. How did the two figures acquire the Lily and George names? Victor Chiappa made them, they are not original to the front. It was built in 1904 for the well known Bristol showman, Marshall Hill, and travelled the major fairs of the West Country throughout its working life. I believe Mr Lythgoe has been its only preservation owner.

  • @petermackett37 Apparently all its books were copied onto the midi system! I think it can still play from its keyframe though, it would probably sound less 'jerky' than it does here. Do you know who marked these three tunes?

  • @fairgrounddiva You're very welcome. :-)

  • @StuartMulcrow oh I see. thanks for explaining
