This is our filly La Bamba (Bunny) that we have for sale. She is an extremely tall and graceful Tennessee Walking Horse by the incomparable Jose' Jose' and out of the Out On Parole daughter Thelma N Louise. She is shown in this video taken in mid April when she was 24 months old, and was either barefoot with a very short toe or wearing kegs.
One of the most remarkable and unusual things about Bunny is that she moves with an extraordinary grace that belies her height. She is currently 16 hands but she should reach 16.2 before she finished growing. She moves with the type of grace rarely found in Tennessee Walkers of this extraordinary size. So many of the large ones have a "romper stomper" was of moving. This filly is graceful and elegant and moves like a ballet dancer. Her pictures and video don't even begin to do her justice.
We really love how her neck and head are perfectly set on, with her shoulder having a perfect slope. Another notable about her conformation is her short strong back and beautiful head. She won her first class being shown as a yearling under Judge Judy Martin, besting some of the finest young fillies being shown at that time.
